Poche Plantation is a full service Cajun Country Camping RV Park and Resort in it's own class in Cajun country close to New Orleans and Baton Rouge, LA. Between Gonzales and Laplace Louisiana. We welcome big rigs, Fifth wheels and pull behinds within the RV Park and Resort. The site is over 18 acres of groomed, manicured lawns and gardens. The property is listed of the National Register for Historic Places along with the builder, Judge Felix Poche. Judge Poche could not have imagined what a destination Camping RV Park and Resort his estate has become. The property acquired by the present owners, Mark and Yvette Anderson who were/are full time RV’ers built the place with the hopes to make travelers feel as if the place was their home. Large concrete spaces, modern tower hookups with night vision lighting, cable TV, phone and Wireless High Speed Internet awaits any size RV. Spaces were developed with sites custom designed for different types of today's modern Camping coaches and fifth wheel homes. Each RV Space has its own concrete patio, lawn and trash container. The pool, water and flower fountains along with the Hot Tub area all sport custom murals painted by local artist, Doug Crawford with scenes of the South. The pool area is enclosed with 10 foot high columns with large rod iron fencing and trim. The pool does not close to adults at anytime and offers privacy walls. Well lit with night lighting and fully supplied patio and pool furniture. Rated with exceptionally clean private room showers with handicap access. Modern two coin laundry rooms with 8 washers and 8 dryers. We are in the heart of Louisiana Cajun Country and Plantation Country, a short distance from New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Gonzales and Laplace La Close to Garyville. If you need further accommodations we have Bed and Breakfast suites and cottages close to RV camping pads available.
